Auto Off/Power Save Options
Turns to “standby” mode after 20 seconds of inactivity. After 2 hours of non-use, the stethoscope will leave standby mode and fully power off. Menu options to select power consumption settings also available; Low, Medium, and High.
Care/Cleaning/Maintenance
Cleaning should be done between each patient use with an alcohol wipe. The diaphragm can be removed and cleaned with alcohol. Do not immerse or attempt to sterilize. Ear tubes, ear tips, plastic tubing and chest piece can be wiped clean with alcohol. Ear tips may be removed for a more thorough cleaning. Keep stethoscope away from heat, cold, solvents and oils.
Visual indicator is LCD monitor located on chest piece for heart rate (numerical), volume/amplification level, mode, and battery life.
